Using the Rich Text Editor Toolbar

The Rich Text Editor (RTE) provides a versatile toolbar that allows you to format text and add elements to your document. Below is a detailed guide on each option available in the toolbar to help you make the most of the RTE features.

1. Format (Aa)

The Format dropdown allows you to change the formatting of your text to various styles, such as Heading 1, Heading 2, or Normal Text. This is useful for structuring your document with different levels of headings or for resetting text to standard body content. Simply click this option and select the desired format to apply it to the selected text.

2. Bold (B)

Click the Bold button to make the selected text bold. This is useful for emphasizing important information.

3. Italic (I)

The Italic button makes the selected text italicized, which is often used for quotes, titles, or to emphasize certain words.

4. Underline (U)

Use the Underline button to underline the selected text. This can be helpful for drawing attention to specific parts of your content.

5. List options

Click on the list icon to format your text as a list. The Bulleted List button creates a bulleted list from the selected text or allows you to start a new bulleted list. Similarly, the Numbered List option creates a numbered list, which is ideal for ordered information or steps in a process.

6. Text Alignment

The Text Alignment dropdown provides options to align your text to the left, center, right, or justified. Select the alignment option that best fits your content layout.

9. Text Color (●)

The Text Color button allows you to change the color of the selected text. Clicking this option will show you the available colors to choose from. You can select the default color (dark grey), your companies custom color, green and red.

10. Link (🔗)

The Link button allows you to add a hyperlink to the selected text. Clicking this button opens a dialog where you can enter the URL, click 'apply' to confirm.

Note: The link is not clickable when editing the text, but in preview mode when a buyer accesses your space, all links are clickable.

11. Placeholder (+ Placeholder)

The Placeholder button allows you to insert dynamic content placeholders into your document. Here, you can select from our default properties (company name, first name, last name) and the custom properties you defined.

These placeholders can be used for information that are used in multiple places in your template and change for each different customer.

12. Remove formatting (•••)

Click on the More Options menu and select the eraser symbol to remove formatting, instead default formatting will be applied.
